Source: Udemy – Ultimate Blender 3D Geometry Nodes

Time spent: 1 hour

I purchased a Udemy Course – The Ultimate Blender 3D Geometry Nodes Course. It covers Blender basics (which I skipped past) before going over the basics of Geometry Nodes and Shader Nodes. There are 320 lectures in total which span nearly 55 hours, so I won’t get chance to look at all of them. The way the course is structured, each section introduces 10-15 new nodes, and at the end of the section you have a new asset.

I started with the first exercise which was a snowman model. At the end of the lecture there was literally a plane for the ground and a stack of three snowballs of decreasing size. To take this a couple of steps further, I added a couple more snowballs for feet, coal for buttons and eyes, a carrot for his nose and sticks for his arms.

I adjusted the lighting to look more like moonlight.
